Washington slept and ate Shad here.

Artist: James (Jay) McPhillips, Hibbs House, Washington's Crossing, PA. 17 x 11", Oil on canvas mounted to poster board.

A nicely done impressionistic painting of a familiar landmark.

Jay is a prolific painter of local scenes and has worked in the area for over a decade.

Also a graphic designer, Jay is locally famous for designing the ubiquitous "Lamb-Bert-Ville" bumper sticker. Yep, that was Jay.

Thanks for another outstanding piece!

Own this piece. Be the high bidder at the May 1st auction, 3pm at the First Presbyterian Church Rec. Room, 31 N. Union Street.
